Recommendation

Buildings in marine environment require building materials with improved corrosion resistance, especially in Southern Europe where UV radiations play also a role.

Steel grade, dimensions and zinc coating mass must be selected according to the construction regulations (European and country standards). For organic coatings, we recommend a substrate with a zinc layer of minimum 225g/sqm (or equivalent). But in some area local regulations impose a minimum of 275g/sqm (or equivalent).
